We all are addicted to something. For me, I like to work. I work a lot. Work gives me a feeling of achievement, and I know it is helping not only my clients but also my readers, subscribers and members on Healing Place’s many social media platform.

There is a sense of fulfillment that I know I’m living my life purpose work

There are good addictions and bad ones. The positive ones make you feel good about what you do and where you are. The bad ones make you feel bad and guilty about yourself. It feels icky, dense, and the energy doesn’t flow.

How do you break out of the negative cycle? The list below is my daily action plan.

  • Upon awakening, I verbally express my what I am grateful for
  • I set the intention and tone for the day
  • What are my six tasks for the day and be okay if I can get to the top three
  • Always know that I am doing my best in every moment

I no longer beat myself up for the things that I can’t get to on my list; this is what I call grace by accepting myself without judgment.
