Find the Time to Meditate!

I just read a great article I would like to share with you, on why we should all meditate.  Not only does meditation give your soul a rest, it quiets down the monkey in your head, and helps you to find your inner peace.  If you can find 5 minutes every day to meditate, not only will you feel better, but you will actually learn to let go of your daily burdens. Why has meditation been the core practice of all wisdom paths for over two thousand years? Because it is the most effective method to access your innate wisdom, rediscover inner peace, and enhance your creative abilities.

Meditation restores well being, and once you are well again, all that you do will be successful and fulfilling. But maybe you think you are OK the way that you are. Perhaps you feel your being is well. But is it? Do you feel tense, worried, hopeless, mentally tired, emotionally upset…ever?  Then your body may be OK, but emotionally, you (the being) are unwell. Medication is for the body, and meditation is for the mind and soul. One of the greatest gifts you can give yourself is learning how to meditate and then practicing.

A routine practice of meditation says that you care about yourself. Not only can meditation help you to find yourself, but it can touch the minds and hearts of others.
