Even when challenging times test you, remember to keep breathing.  Remember to take deep breathes to stay calm and steady.
“Meditation is the only freedom as it is a dimension beyond the mind.  All the stress and struggle are of the mind.” – Sadhguru
Remember that life is a journey, not a destination. Just because the journey can be difficult at times and can take your breathe away, does not mean that it is not a good journey.  The journey is an opportunity for growth.

Life is not going to be perfect every day.  Life is not going to be perfect every year.  In my own journey I find peace in the beautiful every day simple pleasures.  The sunset, the smiles from strangers and the rainy day!  Of course we all have days when we feel lousy physically and mentally.  This does not mean the day or you are a failure.  During our days we need to breathe and remember some days are just not perfect and learn from it!
Building the tools to keep the stress away I believe start in the mind.  Meditation tools can help maintain the struggles in your mind that cause you stress.
A mini meditation practice can help you build the tools to control the mind and your feelings.  Find the tools that work for you and control your feelings.
Spin those thoughts in your mind and control your feelings.
Spin spin spin and agree to have good feelings
