Hello Healing Place Medfield followers. I have had the opportunity to meet a few of you, and so many of you will know that I am both a book writer, as well as a teacher for getting your book written and published.

However, today, I want to introduce you to the idea of writing from your heart chakra. This is not something brand new, because many people have written about heart-centered writing.

To get yourself into the right frame of mind before you begin writing, get quiet and centered. Put your feet flat on the floor, your back straight, allowing you to breathe deep. Take three deep breaths and let them out slowly. Then focus your attention on your heart chakra, which is right at the breast bone area. The color of the heart chakra is green or pink. You can close your eyes and see if these colors play around in your brain. When you are ready, you can gradually become aware of your surroundings.

Now, you are ready to write, because now you are focused on your heart chakra. Naturally, writing tends to take you out of the heart chakra and up to your throat chakra, which is your communications chakra. You should do this before your bring out your writing gear. Write via computer or by hand in a spiral notebook.

Youā€™ve focused yourself, so donā€™t push yourself to write for writing sake. Instead, relax and trust the universe to provide you with inspiration. Because this is a new experience, you may have a bit of difficulty with just trusting the universe. Perhaps, you are not aware of all the ways in which the mystery of the universe, which some people would call God, actually works. But this is unnecessary for the purpose of allowing Divine guidance into your writing.

Stay quiet for up to 30 minutes. If the muse has not touched your heart, perhaps there is nothing you need to write today. Donā€™t give up on this, if you do this every day for a week, you will find what touches your heart to write.

Youā€™ll be amazed at the power of the universe to guide you into creativity. Writing becomes more like downloading than struggling with writing.
