Do you find yourself running from event to event? Is your daily “to do” list longer than what you can achieve in a given day? Do you find yourself so torn with what you have to do that you feel it is out of control? Has it become unacceptable to take a 5 minute break throughout the day for fear of losing time? Welcome to the world of “why wasn’t this done yesterday! “

As I grow spirituality instead of finding peace and quiet I find myself doing more and more.  Instead of my friend “peace” coming to visit me, my other friend “addiction” finds me instead.

I finally feel like I can manifest anything I want with almost a flick of thought. Instead of being delighted with manifesting, I am starting to get frustrated and tired.  As I manifest, the universe is jumping through hoops to turn my thoughts into tangible events and actions. What I have manifested within the last twelve months are seven new mini Reflexology programs and introduction to energy medicine programs to teach. I am in the process of finishing my first cookbook, “Feed Your Body and Soul: Mostly Gluten Free Recipes with Inspirations for People Who Don’t cook but Want to Cook Like a Pro” and my first children’s book, “Through My Mommy’s Bellybutton” and my website sites, and are evolving.  I have new clients coming for healing services.  I have even attracted the right people who are supporting me in my adventures. I have a buddy, Mike Scheimer, CEO of Frugal Fitness asked me to guest host on his radio show to talk about exercise for the body and exercise for the spirit. We do group hugs. Thank you everyone.

I should be grateful, instead I find myself being resentful with trying to keep up with what I am creating. I find that I have less time and I feel overwhelmed.  I find myself downloading all kinds of cool thoughts from the universe which usually turn into a series of events or actions. I should be saying “not now” but I find myself so excited with all the new possibilities, that I take on more than I can physically handle. I keep forgetting that I have a human body that has limitations. When am I getting that supernatural body? Oh, you say “maybe in the “next life.” I feel like I can do anything and add more projects to my ever growing list, but there is a price with doing everything.

What happens when I have these huge energy exchanges? I get high with energy, but I also have energy crashes. I feel like those roller coasters that can do big loop- de- loops. When I crash, all I want is peace, quiet and isolation to recuperate.  I don’t want the clients and students to come. I find myself not being able to think clearly. I can’t sleep, although my mind wants to, my body fights it.

I would think by now that I would have learned my lesson after fifty years of repeating the same pattern, but I finally realize that I am addicted to “busyness.”  Is there a support group for that kind of addiction? Can I be the first member?

To find balance and focus again, I spend time talking to other spiritual friends. I also go back to my roots of meditating throughout the day. I also exercise, knit, cook, and take walks with my puppies. As a healer, I know that I must practice the art of quiet throughout my day to find balance and focus and not only when I can squeeze it in.
