Healing Place Celebrates 10th Anniversary!!

Certified Reflexologist, Helen Chin Lui is pleased to announce on September 10th the Healing Place will be celebrating our 10 year anniversary.

In the beginning, most entrepreneurs wear many hats; we are not only the service provider but the administrative assistant, accountant, customer service representative, social media director, bottle washer, and custodian. These tasks, as well as meeting financial responsibilities associated with overhead and living expenses, are overwhelming

From 2006-2009 Helen worked 10 to 15 hours everyday. She still work almost every day on some aspect of her business, but she ENJOYS what she does.  She doesn’t  consider it to be work. It’s very satisfying and rewarding, especially when clients tell her how much she has helped them.

When Helen established the  Healing Place in 2006, the alternative health trend was very young in the US. Many people knew about massage, acupressure and chiropractic services, but very few knew what Reflexology, Reiki, and Chakra Balancing were.

She established her business with the belief “if I build it, they will come!” Was she naive! The biggest challenge was educating people about what she did, why she did it and what the benefits are. To educate and market my services, she taught Reiki, self-care Reflexology and Introduction to Energy Medicine classes at various adult education programs and also attended many networking meetings.

As of 2016, accordingly to National Institutes of Health, about a third of Americans seek alternative medicine, and 5% of America solely use alternative medicine for their health. The Healing Place is pleased to be a part of this progressive health trend. We have helped hundreds of clients to find long-term relief from their chronic pain and chronic digestive problems and helped balance their hormones naturally without medication.

We thank our clients who have supported us through the years and for spreading the word about the Healing Place through community outreach and referrals. We look forward to many more years of being of service.
