Transformative Youth Leadership Program: In-Person Program

The Power of Transformative Youth Leadership

Transformation youth leadership supports youth in developing the ability to analyze their strengths and weaknesses, how to set personal and professional goals, develop self-esteem, confidence, motivation, and learn the ability to follow through. With leadership development, young people will learn to become a dynamic advocate for themselves, for others and the community. Transformative Youth Leadership prepares youth how to manage time, work in team settings, set goals, learn to dialogue, facilitate meetings, and speak effectively.

Transformative Youth Leadership Program

The Healing Place is hosting a seven-week Youth Leadership Program with Phoenix Center for Transformative Leadership with owner and instructor, Erin Lynch. Erin is certified in Nonprofit Youth and Human Service Leadership with more than 20 years of community initiative experience.

What will participants learn?

Erin wants to teach youth, ages 12 to 18 to explore self, community, and global issues skills, and tools to develop leadership skills. Participants will learn how to create an action plan to bring positive changes to their lives and community.

Life skill building exercises include:

• etiquette
• collaborative dialogue
• persuasive writing
• public speaking

When: Thursdays, September 12 through October 24, from 4:30-5:30 at the Healing Place LLC, 50 North Street, 2nd floor, Medfield, MA

Maximum group size – 8 participants

Cost: Tuition is $315, includes course materials, T-shirt, support, and a certificate upon completion.
