Reflexology Apprentice I am pleased to announce that the Healing Place has recruited a Reflexology apprentice, Maureen Jennings. I am so excited. I have been waiting for the right person to train to come help me! Who is Maureen? Maureen has worked in college libraries for more than 30 years. She is ready for a big life change!! Maureen has always been interested in the holistic healing arts. She has certifications in Reiki, Integrated Energy Therapy, and Zero Balancing, and is a graduate of the Lauterstein-Conway Massage School in Austin, TX. Maureen’s life story is very similar to mine. At the age of 52, we both decided to switch careers (except I haven’t been 52 years old for a lot of years!) Before becoming a Reflexologist I was working as an office manager at a nonprofit that I knew wasn’t the right job for me. I can say Maureen and I both knew that there was something else out there for us and it involved the healing arts. We knew we were meant to help people. As part of Maureen’s foot certification requirement, she needs to complete and submit 70 clinical reflexology sessions. That means Maureen needs to work on 70 pairs of feet! She needs 7-10 people who will commit to a weekly session for 7 or 10 weeks, on either Saturday or Sunday. This is great news for people who have always wanted to try reflexology but are reluctant to make a financial commitment – Here is your chance to work with someone who needs your help to complete her certification requirements! This program is ONLY open to people who haven’t had reflexology services but would love to try it with a minimal investment – the health benefits will be tremendous!
