Take five minutes out of your schedule and sit quietly without distractions. (Sorry, no TV, radio, children, telephone, etc.) Focus on breathing from your diaphragm.Ā  Take slow, full breaths.Ā  If you are not used to taking full breaths, your lungs may hurt at first, but with each breath your lungs will hurt less.Ā  Most people breathe shallowly without realizing it. At the end of five minutes, you are going to feel better. You will feel more peace, more relaxed and your head will feel clearer.

Try this breathing exercise twice a day, preferably at the beginning of the day and at the end of the day to help clear your energy field. By focusing on your breathing at the beginning of the day it will set the tone for the day. Most people feel uplifted and have better concentration. And by focusing your breathing at the end of the day it will help you to get rid ofĀ  the day’s tension and stress.
