I just heard a television segment where the main discussion was – Girls and women HAVE to be perfect, and failing is not an option.

The discussion continues stating that failing isn’t a bad thing and we need to fail to grow.

Instead of focusing on what went wrong, focus on what did you learn? Even when you feel like you have failed, get back up and continue with the project at hand.

What’s failing to me? I don’t think about failing very much.

I have not lived in my comfort zone since 2006. During this time I have learned so much about who I am and what I am capable of.

I live fearlessly without soliciting permission or advice from others before taking the next step.

I no longer need anyone to stand over me telling me what to do, when to do it, or how to do it.

Is it scary to be this free? Yes, it is! However, I love to create and the freedom that comes with it.

It is so refreshing to stand in my light instead of crouching in someone’s shadow.

How will you grow today?
