- Do you feel like you are spinning your wheels, but not going anywhere?

Quiet down your Mental Chatter
To stomp out unwelcome internal chatter, find joyful activities that produce the calming hormone, serotonin; activities that can divert your attention and help you to find your focus. You can be one of those people who feel good when in nature. (I like walking with my puppies.) Or perhaps, you get lost in a good book. Do you set aside enough “me” time and meditate? Maybe you are a yoga enthusiast. Do people feed your soul?
The Power of Journalling
Since I write so much, I have learned to free myself mentally through writing. Writing has taught me to have honest conversations with myself as I decide what to write about that will be helpful to you.
Family and Friends
Family and friends can be a wonderful support system. As much as I love to be with them, I have to limit my time with them. Sometimes family and friend drama can be overwhelming and draining. It took a long time for me to set boundaries. This doesn’t mean that I don’t need them, but I don’t need their constant presence and validation.
Find a Passion
We hear the word passion, but many don’t know what it really it. Passion is a strong emotion that can be scary and exhilarating at the same time, especially when you are about to embark on a new adventure.
I admit I am a very passionate person. I love so many things that I do. I love my healing work, connecting to people; I love to write and teach. Most of all, I love my family. Everyone has a passion! Finding your passion can take you out of your comfort zone as you explore new challenges.
Go out and find your passion!
Growth is scary
Change is SCARY but necessary for GROWTH! Take the time to look honesty about your life and evaluate your needs. If you feel you need to make a change, this is the time to develop an action plan to help you to grow. All the wishing in the world will not help you if you do not have an action plan.
If you need help, reach out to professionals. As wonderful as family and friends are, they may not be the best people to give you guidance if your changes affect your relationship with them.
Free Yourself From Negativity
By making small changes, you begin to free yourself from a negative energy rut and work towards living an authentic life.
I began seeing Helen years when I was caring for my ill Mom. My stress levels were high, my energy level was low, and my digestive system was off.
