#4 Seated Forward Fold Pose (Paschimottanasana):

Benefits: Calms the brain and helps relieve stress and mild depression. Stretches the spine, shoulders and hamstrings. Stimulates the liver, kidneys, ovaries, and uterus. Improves digestion.

Directions: Begin in a seated position. Inhale. Exhale; extend your legs. Hinge at your hips and reach your hands forward, grabbing anywhere on your legs or feet that feels comfortable. Flex your feet, lengthen your spine, and relax your neck. Hold for 5-10 breathes.

Contraindications: If you are currently experiencing back injuries, only perform this pose under the supervision of a teacher.
