Reflexology Therapy is Not a Foot Rub

Foot Reflexology generally misunderstood as a foot massage, but it is much more than that. Foot Reflexology is a scientific art based on the premise that the zones in the feet correspond to all body parts. Each specific point corresponds with a body function. By stimulating these points, blocked energy, mental and physical tensions, and built-up toxins release.

Reflexology Training

Reflexology therapy can improve circulation, encourages lymphatic drainage, stimulates nerve pathways, and relaxes muscles. An US certified Reflexologist has 200-300 hours of training with knowledge of foot anatomy and general physiology. Other requirements include learning hands-on techniques, clinical observations, and written thesis; while a foot massage is just a massage, with no specific emphasis on reflex points.
