As part of the Healing Place’s monthly paying it forward campaign, for the month of May 2019 the Healing Place has made a donation one of Helen Chin Lui’s favorite organizations, Rosie’s Place.

Rosie’s Place founded in 1974 as the first women’s shelter in the United States. Their mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment to help poor and homeless women maintain their dignity, seek opportunity, and find security in their lives.
The Healing Place has made Pay it Forward donations to
- No Kid Hungry (no kid (or person) should be hungry)
- Habitat for Humanity (everyone deserves shelter)
- Wounded Warrior Project (thank you for your service)
- Sale Ranch Sanctuary (helps creatures in need or left behind)
- My Block My Hood My City (everyone deserves an opportunity)
